Integrations with Bloomerang, QuickBooks and Salesforce
A custom app should fit around the software you already pay for, not replace it. These are the connections we build most.
Short answer. Sarasoris builds custom apps that connect to the software you already use through official APIs: Bloomerang, QuickBooks Online and Salesforce for nonprofits most often, as well as DonorPerfect, Little Green Light, Planning Center and common calendars. Each connection uses the narrowest permissions the app needs.
Integration guides
- Bloomerang integration: donor data for reports, volunteer activity back to the CRM
- QuickBooks Online integration: invoices, payments, customers and time
- Salesforce Nonprofit integration: NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud
Other systems we connect to
DonorPerfect, Little Green Light, Planning Center, Google and Microsoft calendars and email, and most systems that offer an API or a regular export. We confirm what yours allows during Discovery.
What an integration usually does
- Pulls numbers in for reports. Gifts and donors from Bloomerang or Salesforce, invoices and payments from QuickBooks Online, so a board or owner report builds itself.
- Sends work back. Volunteer hours to the donor CRM, finished jobs and time to QuickBooks for invoicing.
- Ends double entry. A customer, donor or volunteer is typed once and appears where it is needed.
- Keeps calendars in step. Shifts, jobs and room bookings show up in Google or Microsoft calendars.
By industry
- QuickBooks Online for field-service companies, construction and trades, auto repair shops and staffing agencies
- Bloomerang, Salesforce Nonprofit, DonorPerfect and Little Green Light for nonprofits
- Planning Center for churches and ministries
- Calendars and email for almost every app, from volunteer scheduling to event venues
When an integration is not the answer
Sometimes a monthly export and a clean import is cheaper and sturdier than a live connection, especially when the numbers are only needed for a report. Discovery compares the two and recommends the simpler one.
How we connect
- Through each system’s official API, never by scraping screens
- With the narrowest permissions the app needs
- With access you can review and switch off. How we handle client data.
Questions
What if our system has no API?
Many systems can export a file on a schedule, which the app can pick up. If neither works, Discovery will say so before you commit.
What does an integration cost?
It is part of the project’s fixed price. Discovery is $1,500, and most projects cost $8,000 to $80,000. You get a fixed price in writing before the build starts.
