SARASORIS

Accessibility

Last reviewed . We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we build client apps to the same standard.

Our goal

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • All content is real text in the page. The 3D scenes are decoration and are hidden from screen readers.
  • The home page opens in a plain version first, and the plain version is always available.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, the scroll-driven camera and animation are switched off.
  • A skip link, headings in order, labeled form fields and descriptive link text
  • The site is built to work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.

Known limits

  • The 3D journey and the Mars rover are optional extras. Driving the rover needs a keyboard or touch controls.
  • Older browsers without WebGL see a simpler illustration instead of the 3D scene.

How we checked

This is a self-assessment by Sarasoris, using automated checks and manual testing with a keyboard.
