Custom app pricing
Most projects cost between $8,000 and $80,000.
You get a fixed price in writing at the end of Discovery, before you commit to the build. Discovery itself is $1,500. Each project is paid half when you approve the plan and half at launch. Support is offered after launch.

What the price includes
- Everything in the written plan from Discovery
- Moving your existing data
- Training your staff: on site in Colorado Springs, by video elsewhere
- Documentation
- Corrections during Build and Deploy, up to launch
What it does not include
- Hosting, usually $50 to $200 a month, paid by you directly to the provider
- New features that are not in the written plan. These are quoted separately, in writing, before any work starts
- Hardware such as tablets or barcode scanners
After launch
Support is offered after launch. It covers fixes, small changes and answers to your questions by email. You can cancel it any time. The software is yours and keeps running on your own hosting, but without support no one is looking after it: fixes, security and software updates, and changes when a connected service changes its rules are then up to you, or can be done by the hour.

Questions
Is Discovery included in the project price?
No. Discovery is $1,500 and comes first. It ends with a written plan and a fixed price for the build, and you can stop there and keep the plan.
What if we only need one piece?
Start with it. Discovery sets a fixed price for just that piece, and the rest of the app can be added later.
Do I pay before seeing anything?
You pay for Discovery first. The project is paid half when you approve the written plan and half at launch, and during the build there is usually a new working version on your own devices every week.
What does hosting cost?
Usually $50 to $200 a month, paid by you directly to the provider.
Do nonprofits pay different prices?
The prices are the same, but the work can be phased to fit a budget or a grant cycle. See for nonprofits.
What happens after launch?
Support is offered after launch: fixes, small changes and answers to your questions by email. You can cancel it any time. The software is yours and keeps running on your own hosting, but without support no one is looking after it: fixes, security and software updates, and changes when a connected service changes its rules are then up to you, or can be done by the hour.
