Custom software for Colorado churches and ministries
Volunteer teams, rooms and events, care and benevolence ministries, and the reports your elders or board ask for, in one app built around how your church actually works.
For pastors, executive pastors and church administrators, and for the ministry headquarters based in Colorado Springs. Your staff should be caring for people, not reconciling three systems and a spreadsheet every Monday.

Short answer. A custom app for a church covers what church management software leaves to spreadsheets: volunteer teams with background checks and training, rooms, vehicles and events, food pantry and benevolence requests, pastoral care follow-up, and reports for elders and the board. It works alongside Planning Center or your current system instead of replacing it.
Does this sound like your church?
- Volunteer teams are scheduled in one tool, rooms in another and events in a spreadsheet.
- Children’s and student ministry volunteers need background checks and training, tracked by hand.
- The food pantry or benevolence ministry runs on paper, and nobody can see who has already been helped.
- Prayer requests and care visits are written down, then lost between staff members.
- Elders or the board ask for numbers that take days to pull together.
What would the app do?
- Volunteer teams and rotations, with background checks, training and child-safety requirements met before anyone serves
- Room, vehicle and equipment booking without double bookings, for staff and outside groups
- Event registration, check-in and follow-up
- Food pantry and benevolence: requests, approvals, distributions and limits per household
- Pastoral care: hospital visits, meals, prayer requests and follow-up, seen only by the people who should see them
- Reports for elders, the board and donors, built from the work your teams already record
Why not just use Planning Center?
Planning Center, Breeze, Rock RMS and similar systems handle a great deal well, and most churches should keep theirs. A custom app is worth it for the pieces they do not cover the way you work: a large church’s volunteer requirements, a food or benevolence ministry, a school or camp the church runs, or reporting across several systems. It connects to your current tools where they allow it; Planning Center, for example, offers an API.
What about ministry headquarters?
Colorado Springs is home to many national and international ministries, and their needs look more like a large nonprofit’s: partner and donor reporting, field staff, events and conferences, and internal tools that tie several systems together. We work with in-house teams too, either building a whole app or adding developers to theirs; see subcontract software development.
Who can see sensitive information?
Care notes, benevolence requests and children’s records are sensitive, so access is by role: a small-group leader sees their group, the care team sees care requests, and children’s check-in shows volunteers only what they need. See how we handle your data.
How much does it cost to start?
Discovery is $1,500, and most projects cost $8,000 to $80,000. You get a fixed price in writing before the build starts. A common first piece is volunteer teams with background-check tracking; rooms, care and reports come next. See pricing, or get a rough range from the cost estimator.
Questions
Do we have to replace Planning Center or our current system?
No. Usually the best answer is to keep it and build the missing piece alongside it.
Can it track background checks and training?
Yes. Volunteers can be kept from signing up for roles until their requirements are recorded as complete.
Can volunteers sign up from their phones?
Yes. Volunteers sign up and see their schedule in the phone’s browser. An App Store and Google Play app costs extra.
Do you work with ministry headquarters as well as local churches?
Yes, and with their in-house teams. Ministries with their own developers can also bring us in to work alongside them.
